Refund Policy

Effective date: August 30, 2026 · published August 16, 2026, alongside the matching change to Terms section 7.

Interview Coach sells token packs — one-time purchases, never subscriptions; purchased tokens stay valid for 12 months from purchase. This policy covers when money comes back.

1. Untouched packs — 14 days, full refund

If you bought a token pack and have not used any of its tokens, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.

2. Partially used packs — 14 days, unused remainder

If you used some tokens from a pack within the first 14 days, we refund the unused remainder at the pack's effective per-token price. Tokens already consumed by interviews, reviews, renders, research and similar operations are not refundable — the underlying AI compute was spent on your session the moment it ran.

3. When something breaks

If a session fails — the interviewer dies mid-call, an analysis never arrives, a render is charged but never delivered — tell us. We will re-credit the tokens for the affected operation (our default remedy), or refund their value if a re-credit doesn't make sense. This applies at any time, not just 14 days, and it applies whether the fault was ours or an outage at a provider we depend on — you should not have to care which.

Re-credit is the remedy for a failed or unavailable operation; downtime itself is not separately compensated (see Terms, section 7).

4. What is not refundable

Free-plan usage and any promotional tokens (they were never paid for);
Tokens consumed by completed operations that worked as described;
Dissatisfaction with an interview outcome at a real employer — we coach practice, we cannot guarantee results;
Purchases older than 14 days (except section 3).

5. How to request a refund

Email simcoachtrain@gmail.com from your account email with the purchase date and, for section 3, which session broke. We respond within 5 business days; approved refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing here limits refund or withdrawal rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer.
